The SALONGENIUS team will reduce in size over the coming months and eventually, SALONGENIUS will no longer be supported. Whether you choose to move to Zenoti or elsewhere, we will do our best to help you make the best decision for your salon.

Q. Will this affect my holiday season?

A. Not at all. We understand how critical the holiday season is to your business and that you will need to focus on your clients. We’ll work with you on scheduling the timelines for the upgrade to Zenoti. If you are ready to upgrade during the holiday season, we’ll check with our services team on their availability. Nonetheless, you’ll have to choose a week to start your upgrade in Jan-Feb. We recommend you commit to the week soon, while spots last.

Q. How much of my time and effort will it take to upgrade to Zenoti?

A. Next to none. Zenoti's team of experts will take care of the upgrade; you only need to review the configuration to ensure it's right. Once you've said 'yes', they'll make it happen. We've even arranged for Zenoti to migrate your data at no cost to you.

Q. How long will it take to train me and my staff?

A. Free online training is available 24/7 for you and your team to complete at your convenience. Tutorials are hands-on and offer detailed practice on the tasks you'll need to do on the job. We recommend allowing two hours for the front desk training, and approximately four hours for the manager training. Online training not your thing? Zenoti also offers live webinar-based training that allows you to ask questions directly to the experts.

Q. By when do I need to decide to move to Zenoti?

A. We offer you a lot of flexibility time-wise to ensure you're fully prepared to transition to Zenoti; you may choose a time to upgrade that’s convenient for you. We’d suggest though that the sooner you switch, the sooner you and your business will benefit from all the amazing tools in the Zenoti armoury.

Q. How long will SALONGENIUS be supported?

A. You can contact the SALONGENIUS support team for a number of months yet, however, we would encourage you to switch to Zenoti as soon as possible.

Q. Will Zenoti do everything SALONGENIUS does for me today? 

A. There are no compromises. You will not lose any of the features you’ve grown to love, such as the comprehensive appointment system, insightful reports and automatic emails and SMS. You’ll be amazed at the scope of features like loyalty schemes, gift cards, tiered rewards, custom packages, feedback management, SMS and email notifications suddenly available to you - and you won’t lose any of the features that you’ve come to expect.

Q. Does Zenoti support patch tests?

A. Yes, Zenoti supports patch tests and ensures guests can't book themselves in until they receive a patch test.

Q. Will I need new hardware?

A. Zenoti is a next-gen salon software solution delivered over the internet. While we don't think you would need to upgrade your hardware, there's a recommended set of items that provide the best-in-class Zenoti experience:

Zenoti comes with the best integrated payments solution in the industry. You would need a compatible payment processing device to accept payment on Zenoti. As a promotional feature, Zenoti will provide one device free of charge to any customer who signs up with Zenoti in November. That’s worth over £270.

Q. Does Zenoti support deposits as well as payments in full with their online booking solution?

A. Yes, Zenoti supports full as well as partial payments. Your guests will be able to pay in full or deposit a certain amount while booking services through salon site through its software solution. Still, the power lies in your hands to accept the deposits or not depending on your business policies.

Q. Will SMS credits cost the same as those I currently pay SALONGENIUS?

A. SMS rates will be similar to SALONGENIUS which is great news for you.

Q. Does the Zenoti software allow me to send emails to my clients?

A. Yes. it does
Zenoti supports both transactional and promotional emails to your clients. Transactional emails include emails on appointment bookings, reminders, payment confirmations and so on. With promotional emails, you can share campaigns and offers to attract more bookings.

Q. Can I create 'set & forget' marketing campaigns?

A. Yes, you can. Zenoti’s AlwaysOn campaigns allow you to sit back and relax, as the system sends the right messages to the right clients at the right time. You won’t need to keep track of things like birthdays and anniversaries, as the system will automatically send these clients a timely message or offer of your choice

Q. Can I access the software from anywhere in the world?

A. Yes, that's the beauty of cloud based solutions. As long as you have the right browser and good internet speed, you’ll get access from any device, at any place, at any time.
