Having taken ownership 15+ years ago, Julie Schumacher has propelled growth for Rumors with a second location. She touches on their secret to low customer turnover: a professional salon environment with a family feel. “It’s a multi-generational business and not even in terms of our clients, but our employees,” she says. “I’ve had mothers and daughters, fathers and sons. It's fun to be involved with something like that.”
